concrete achievements and links to international covenants in Baltic Sea protection

We will highlight the local potential and concrete achievements in the Baltic Sea protection work and provide a platform to an exchange of experiences and good practices to motivate new actors to join the work.

Cities, municipalities and water utilities in the Baltic Sea Region are central actors in the implementation of international water protection agreements. In addition, voluntary commitments to improve the state of the Baltic Sea further emphasize the importance of local actors. We will highlight the local potential and concrete achievements in the Baltic Sea protection work and provide a platform to an exchange of experiences and good practices to motivate new actors to join the work.
