Participate in the WeSeaChallenge idea competition

Are you concerned about the state of the Baltic Sea? Are you curious about what open geospatial data and earth observation satellites can do for us? If your answer is yes to these questions, #weseachallenge is for you!

WeSeaChallenge is an idea competition, where solutions for sustainable marine planning and monitoring are sought for. Total prizepool of 8500€ is available in the competition.

You can take part individually or as part of a team.

It concerns where are the most critical areas to act on in the Baltic Sea area – for a clean, productive and shared Baltic Sea. Apply satellite data or data products based on earth observation to visualize the critical areas on a map. Visualize BSC members and their activity areas on the same map along with critical areas.

The winning proposal will receive a cash prize of 2500 euros. In addition, the winning proposal’s team will receive tickets to Turku City Theatre, the value of a single ticket being worth of 100 EUR.
