Seminaari: "Water Protection and Water Conservation in the Urban Environment" 18-19.10. Tukholmassa

Englanninkielinen seminaari vesiensuojelusta kaupunkiympäristössä.

The City of Stockholm invites city officials, decision makers, environmental authorities, NGO´s, researchers and those involved or interested in water management, to a seminar about water protection and water conservation in the urban environment.

The aim of the seminar is to exchange experiences between European cities, to present good practices and to create a platform for discussing future collaboration regarding urban water protection and conservation.

The EU Water Framework Directive demands further improvement of the conditions in most water bodies, both inland and coastal waters, which is a great challenge for the future.

Experiences from Stockholm and a number of European cities will be presented during the seminar and following workshops, within the context of urban water management. There will also be space for an exhibition of roll-ups and posters allowing more participants to present their experiences.

Time: October 18, 12.00 - October 19, 17.00.
Study visits will be arranged on October 20, 8.00 - 13.00.

Venue: The House of the European Commission, Stockholm, Sweden.
Participation fee: 150 €.
